The arrival of June in Montclair signals the arrival of Summer in Montclair. If the prospect of several weeks of unstructured time with your children leaves you in a cold sweat, do not fear!

2025 Summer Soccer Sessions

Montclair United Soccer Club in partnership with the Montclair Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs Present a Half-Day Summer Soccer Programming for players born between and including 2011 - 2018.
All sessions will run 9 AM to Noon at Nishuane Park. See details below.

MUSC Summer Soccer:

We are very excited to announce that we have opened registration for our four week summer soccer program run by members of MUSC professional coaching staff.

Enrollment is limited so please register today. Historically, weeks 1 and 2 fill up fast - do not delay.

Dates and times for MUSC SUMMER SOCCER SESSIONS:

*Week 1 is a 4 day week.

Week 1: Mon 6/30 thru Thurs 7/3 (No session on Fri July 4th)------$125*
Week 2: Tues 7/7 thru Fri 7/11-----------------------------------------$145
Week 3: Mon 7/14 thru Fri 7/18-----------------------------------------$145
Week 4: Mon 7/21 thru Fri 7/25-----------------------------------------$145

There are also 3 week discounts available if you register for 3 weeks at once. Any 3 weeks..just select the appropriate combo week session.

All sessions will run 9 AM to Noon at Nishuane Park.

There will likely be some Goalie specific training available for those interested.

Getting Prepared for Soccer Sessions!

What to bring to sessions:

Cleats (Nishuane Park is NOT a turf field! Make sure our players have proper footwear for grass!)
Shingards
A Filled Water Bottle
A Snack (Yes! We have snack time during every session)
A Drawstring Bag or Backpack

What to avoid bringing to sessions:

Video Game Electronics (Nintendo Switch, IPads, etc.)
Valuable Personal Items and Toys

It is important that during soccer sessions, we make sure our players are focused on learning new skills and having fun! While video games and toys are awesome, we ask that players either leave these items at home or keep them safely tucked away in a bag for the duration of the day.

FAQ

Is there a uniform for my player?
No uniforms! While dressing appropriately for running around on hot days is important, feel free to come to sessions in your craziest pair of soccer socks!

Will snack be provided at sessions?
Montclair United Soccer Club does not provide snack for players. We welcome players to bring their own snacks for designated snack time. We also recommend players arrive to sessions having eaten breakfast and energized for the day!

Does my player have to have shinguards?
YES! YES! YES! Players who show up without shinguards will not be able to participate in session activities. Keeping our players safe while attending sessions is our utmost priority. SHINGUARDS ARE MANDATORY.

What time is pick-up?
Pick up is at 12 PM. If players plan on going home with a friend or family other than their own, we ask that coaches be notified during check-in.

Is there Goalie training?
There will likely be some Goalie specific training available for those interested.
