Registration for Spring 2021 Soccer is now Open.
The registration process is new. Please be sure you are registering for
Spring 2021 Recreation League
.

Please be 100% certain that you are comfortable with having your child play prior to registering, there will be no refunds unless the entire program is shut down.

Please Review the following BEFORE registering a player.

While we continue to review and revise our plans for the Fall season, the following plans have been made:
(Again, fluid situation people, these may change too.)

1. Soccer has been determined by the State to be a medium contact sport that may be resumed outdoors with no necessary modifications to game play.

2. No snacks or food treats.  No sharing of water.

3. Players will be required to wear masks to and from the field, and encouraged to do so when not practicing social distancing on the sidelines.  Please plan to provide a mask for your player.

AS OF NOW, PLAYERS AND REFEREES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS WHILE ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN GAMES OR PRACTICES.
Parents are welcome to instruct their own children to wear masks at these times, providing the masks have no hard parts or edges.  Hard plastic shields have not been approved for play.

4. ALL SPECTATORS over the age of 2 will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing at all times.

5. Spectators will be limited in both number and distance from the fields.  Many fields will require spectators to watch from the stands, or outside a field's fence.  Refusal to adhere will result in game stoppage and player removal.

6. Game time may be reduced.

7. Game start times will change, and no longer begin on the hour.

8. Due to limited space and time, we need to limit the number of registrations that we can accept this season.  There will be no wait list options for several divisions.

9. The first game of the season will be March 20th.

10. Games will be played through Spring Break.

11. A lot of questions have been asked about how we would handle positive cases of COVID. Since the CDC and New Jersey Department of Health guidelines are changing frequently, for now, all decisions about testing, notification and contact tracing will be made on a case-by-case basis while following local, state and federal guidelines.

We are in need of age group Division Commissioners and Covid Compliance volunteers.  Please email me directly if you are interested.  Gretchen at [email protected]

Children must be 4 or older by October 1 to participate in our youngest programs.
