MFMU 2006 Boys are Runners-up of the prestigious New Jersey President’s State Cup

On Sunday, November 4 the MatchFit Montclair United 2006 Boys played a hard-fought President’s State Cup final in Tinton Falls that culminated in a 3-2 loss to Bridgewater SA Academy in overtime.

This was the second year in a row that the MFMU 2006 Boys had reached a State Cup final after winning the Commissioner’s State Cup in 2017.

The team is ranked # 8 in the state according to youthsoccerrankings.us and had been undefeated in all competitions this fall prior to this final.
