MUSC Recreation Referee

How to become a Referee for MUSC Recreation Program - Monday, February 1, 2016

If you would like to become a referee for the MUSC recreation program, you must first obtain a "Grade 9 Recreational Referee" license by attending a Grade 9 licensing course offered through the New Jersey Referee Committee.  This class is geared toward the youth referee who wants to start officiating recreational games as well as working as an assistant referee for competitive travel games up to U14.

Referee courses are currently offered by NJ Referee Committee.  You can find a listing of courses by going to the NJ Referee Committee's website.  [Once you are at their website, click on the Becoming a Referee link and scroll down the page to find the grade 9 recreational referee class listings]. (MUSC is not affiliated with the NJ Referee Committee).  The term Grade 9 does not refer to a person's grade in school, but refers to a specific level of referee certification.
